The more high school sports content, the merrier! Sports Director Randy McIlvoy of KPRC-TV Local2 and his staff will partner with VYPE during the 2020-2021 school year to provide more coverage of high school athletes and teams across Greater Houston.

In the latest edition of the VYPE Summer Series presented by Xfinity, Roger Smith talks with Randy about the explosion of new Houston area high schools since he came to Local2 in 2004, the renewal of KPRC's Friday Night Football Frenzy tradition, and more.

The Mustangs are not far removed from reaching the Regional Semifinals in 2023. Memorial went 24-13 overall a year ago and brought home the District 17-6A crown for a third-straight season. Last year, the playoff road ended in the Area Round.
