The 2024 basketball playoffs are on the horizon and Greater Houston has some quality teams with their eyes on district titles and beyond.
Fort Bend Clements and Atascocita look to be on a collision course in Class 6A Region III. Both have tremendous guard play and play elite defense.
Guard Michael Collins is leading Shadow Creek to a historic start along with Kaden Tate. Cypress Falls has tremendous length and a coach with a State Title in Richard Flores, while Seven Lakes has one of the best scores in the state in AJ Bates. How about College Park moving up the rankings? The Cavs are led by the trio of Aiden Buckman, Ian Inman and Martez James.
In the lower levels, Hitchcock is the No. 1 team in Class 3A in the state with Lloyd Jones, Damien McDaniel and Kelshaun Johnson bringing a football mentality. Elijah Shearwood his high-flying athlete.
FB Marshall is our top Class 5A team above Barbers Hill, while Booker T. Washington leads the Class 4A ranks.
