2023: 24-11/SPC-4A State Semifinalists
SHELBI IRVIN ENTERS HER SEVENTH SEASON LEADING THE ST. JOHN’S MAVERICKS VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM.
The Mavs reached the SPC-4A Semifinals a year ago and finished 24-11 overall after going 10-2 in SPC South Zone play.
Five starters return for Irvin, including All-SPC selections Dani Laing (NYU-commit) and Jacey Carroll, who was also the GHVCA Private School Newcomer of the Year.
Others to watch for 2024 include Warner Stahlbaum and Kirah Rio. As they enter this season, Irvin just wants her team to “Love the Process” as they chase that SPC Championship, which they last claimed in 2018.
