Just a few months ago, Shadrach Banks and the North Shore Mustangs fell one yard short of advancing to the 6A State Championship for the third consecutive year. The nucleus on that team were QB Dematrius Davis (Auburn) and WR Shadrach Banks (Texas A&M). Both graduated earlier this year and were on campus this spring at their respective schools.
News broke today that Shadrach Banks has entered the transfer portal and is expect to leave Texas A&M. The 2021 signee had been committed to the Aggies since the beginning of junior year and had a impressive senior campaign after an injury-riddled junior season. Banks shined on the football field and cemented his legacy at North Shore by winning two state championships.
Banks was the Offensive MVP for District 21-6A and a first team MaxPreps All-American. Stay tuned as more information becomes available as to where Banks will land next.
