THE HEIRARCHY: VYPE's San Antonio FB Power Rankings heading into Week 3; Steele, Alamo Heights Trending

In what feels like the blink of an eye, we are already entering the third week of the new season on the gridiron.

As it stands, Cibolo Steele remains the top program out of SATX, as coach David Saenz and company put on a clinic against fellow contender Reagan this past Saturday.

Reagan will look to get back in the win column this week, when they host Temple on their home turf.

Meanwhile, Brennan, Harlan, SA Johnson, and Comal Canyon are among the numerous teams who are right on their heels within.

Smithson Valley is on a mission to return to the State Title game and have the talent to back that notion. Furthermore, Alamo Heights and Pieper have enjoyed fast starts this Fall, with Wagner and New Braunfels comprising some of the other contenders within Class 5A.

In Class 4A, Davenport has emerged as one of the state's premier rosters and should be on the path to a deep playoff-run come, November.
