The Seven Lakes Spartans are the kings of Katy ISD. This year will be no different as the Spartans are coming off a Regional Semi appearance in 2023.
The alpha is AJ Bates, who can score from anywhere on the court. He is committed to Louisiana Tech.
He’s not alone, however, as super-sophomore Nasir Price is one of the top guards in the country for the Class of 2026.
Don’t sleep on freshman Isaiah Santos, who may play a big role in the back-court as well. Seven Lakes was solid in the post with Josh Akpovwa who graduated, so coach Shannon Heston will need to find some serviceable rim protectors in 2024.
