The Canton high school softball program is in the midst of an unprecedented run in the postseason.

After sweeping Aubrey (Game 1: 11-4, Game 2: 14-1) a week ago, the Eagles (32-8) now enter the UIL-4A State Tournament for the first time ever, starting this Thursday (7:00 pm) at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin.

VYPE's Matthew Ogle spoke with head coach Russell Smith, detailing Canton's tremendous season thus far, their stars, and the preparation for Liberty this week.
