The Legends of the Fall for Lamar Consolidated ISD powered by Texas Citizens Bank
It's coming up on awards season as the wildest fall season of sports are wrapping up. All the athletes, coaches and administrators pushed through an history four months of uncertainty during a pandemic. We salute you all.
VYPE takes a look back on the seasons that were in the Lamar Consolidated ISD and are happy to unveil the Athletes of the Fall season.
Kiley Smink, Foster Volleyball
Outside of the Fulshear Chargers, Foster was the second-best volleyball team in the school district. Foster went 14-2 in conference play and was led by Kiley Smink. The senior got is done as the leading hitter for the Falcons and played all the way around. She could also defend.
Cody Jackson, Foster Football
Foster's Cody Jackson is a future college star and beyond. The Oklahoma-commit, however, was the best player in District 10-5A DI. He was Foster's leading scorer and receiver. The 6-foot-1 wideout is simply unguardable and his best football may be in front of him.
Kellen Stewart, Terry Football
Terry's Kellen Stewart is a dog. The senior running back went off for over 1,300 yards and had 17 scores. He fought for every yard and helped lead the Rangers to the playoff berth under the direction of coach Cornelius Anthony.
Logan Lednicky, George Ranch Volleyball
George Ranch won District 20-6A under the direction of coach Cheyanne Forshee. The Horns' season came to a halt by Memorial in the second-round of the postseason. The best all-around player was junior Logan Lednicky, who was amazing the way around hitting, blocking and digging.
Brielle Warren, Fulshear Volleyball
Fulshear is loaded with stars like Ava Underwood, Ellie Echter and Alexis Dacosta, but could Brielle Warren be the best of them all? The Purdue-commit is just a junior and has been pounding teams into submission all season.

As we get back to the fields of play, let's take a look at what we have to look forward to in Lamar Consolidated ISD.
Philip Amy, Foster Football
The Foster Falcons turn over the offense to QB Phillip Amy, who threw some nice balls for scores against Lamar Consolidated. Amy can drop it in the bucket to some talented receivers. He threw for 173 yards and four touchdowns in Week 1.
Kellen Stewart, Terry Football
Kellen Stewart of Terry High has some serious wiggle. The converted QB is elusive with the ball in his hands. He's not asked the throw the ball much, but what he does on the ground is electric. Stewart led the Rangers to a 48-0 win over Northbrook.
Jackson Edge, Fulshear Football and Basketball
Fulshear got off to a great start to the football season, smashing Cleveland 47-7 in Week 1. QB Jackson Edge carved up Cleveland for 280 yards and four scores, two of them going to sophomore Parker Williams.
Hymond Drinkard, George Ranch Football
In a big opening game against a tough Crosby team that is loaded with athletes, Longhorn RB Hymond Drinkard could not be stopped. Drinkard went off for 122 yards on the ground for two scores and had one reception for 48 yards.
Tevin Clark, Lamar Consolidated Football
Lamar Consolidated drew a tough Week 1 opponent in Foster. While the score was lopsided, QB Tevin Clark showed some signs of explosiveness on the ground. He will need to have some big games to get into the playoff conversation.
