Denver Harris is one of the highest-touted defensive backs in the Greater Houston Area. Harris in the playoffs last year had four interceptions in six games. He started this year with two in one game, including his first-ever pick-six, which he took back 95 yards for the score. Harris is a matchup nightmare to start the year.
Jackson Edge - Fulshear
Great varsity debut! 1 of my touchdowns from @jacksonedge5 great first game with my dogs‼️ 47-7💯@movement_doc_ @ReggieMcNeal1 @fulshear_fball pic.twitter.com/aoGzQsBpSb

Fulshear made its debut at Class 5A! To open things up, Fulshear defeated Cleveland 47-7 and Jackson Edge was an x-factor. Edge was 18 of 25 for 280 yards and four scores.
Carson Zahn - Memorial

Carson Zahn was a load to take down. Zahn is a hard runner and he will run you over. In a 21-15 victory over Seven Lakes, Zahn rushed for 211 yards and three scores on 36 carries. That is an impressive stat line. He gets a VYPE Helmet Sticker for sure!
Conner Weigman - Bridgeland
🏈 Highlights: @BridgelandFB defeats @KLEINCAINFB in a thriller. Check out the Bears highlights including @ConnerWeigman just launching it and some big defense in the 49-42 win from our media partners @KPRC2 & @alexradow #txhsfb @CFISDAthletics @CyFairISD pic.twitter.com/jWPrB9NFMf

Remember the name Conner Weigman. He put on a show against Klein Cain! Weigman finished 26 of 42 for 372 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 149 yards and three scores. That is 521 total yards and six touchdowns. That is a ridiculous line! We may have to give two VYPE Helmet Stickers for this performance.
Nathan Livingston - Cypress Park
The Cypress Park Tigers put on an absolute clinic against Cypress Ridge.
— Varsity Wires (@VarsityWires) September 25, 2020
Nathan Livingston (@Nathan38724083) posts an astounding 274 rush yards and three scores in his season debut.
Watch out for those Tigers 👀#txhsfb pic.twitter.com/s1ZOmq4pXP
Nathan Livingston! Wow! There is a thing about rushing for a lot of yards but then there is doing that on a low number of carries and averaging 19.6 yards per carry! That is ridiculous. Livingston finished with 274 yards and three scores on 14 carries.
Hunter Bilbo - Magnolia West
In a 48-28 win over Brenham, Hunter Bilbo had an impressive outing. Bilbo rushed for 149 yards and four scores on just 29 carries. What a night for him.
Joseph Wolken - Clear Lake
Let's hand out a helmet sticker to a defensive player. Joseph Wolken had 10 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks and two hurries and one forced fumble. That is an impressive line. What a gamechanger Wolken was against Pasadena winning 59-0.
Christian Olige - Baytown Lee
Baytown Lee opened up the 2020 season with a dominating 48-6 victory over Galena Park. Christian Olige had himself a game going 18 of 26 for 286 yards and six touchdowns with one interception. That is a very impressive night for Olige and the Ganders' offensive unit.
Luke Giron - Pasadena Memorial
Baytown Sterling Highlights pic.twitter.com/F4WUW4dHu8
— Luke Giron (@luke_giron) September 26, 2020
In a 50-17 victory over Baytown Sterling, Luke Giron had a night at the quarterback position. The Mavericks signal-caller finished 12 of 21 for 240 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Giron also rushed for 60 yards on six carries. So, a total of 300 yards! Very nice and definitely deserving of a VYPE Helmet Sticker.
Damon Bankston - Katy Paetow
.@ThatBoy_Bank answers two plays later. What a player. A dazzling 59-yard burst for a score. 7-6 Paetow, 2:20, 1Q. #txhsfb @PaetowFootball @PaetowAthletics pic.twitter.com/okQYtTrHlU
— Dennis Silva II (@densilva2) September 26, 2020
Damon Bankston had himself a game to open the 2020 season. Katy Paetow defeated a really good Barbers Hill team 21-20 and Bankston was a big reason why. The running back busted loose for 194 yards and one score on 26 carries. He finished the game with 243 all-purpose yards. VYPE Helmet Sticker for him!
