This would be a whole lot easier if the UIL hadn’t moved Buda Johnson into a district that contains zero Austin area teams. What, then, to do with a week that saw the Lady Jags defeat Converse Judson but then fall to Steele when there’s nothing to compare that with? For now, Johnson remains on top of the Rankings, but we’ll see how this week goes.

With most Austin area ISDs enjoying Spring Break last week, some of the teams only played one game. That helped Bowie climb to #2 after a win over ranked Austin High, while Cedar Ridge also climbed inside the Top 5 with a victory over ranked Round Rock.
