Brazoswood has been a perennial playoff team in the Houston area, making it for 19-straight years heading into 2024.
Led by legendary coach Laura Oltman, who has 711 career coaching wins overall and 570 of those at Brazoswood, the Lady Bucs return four starters off a 29-win squad that reached the Area Round a year ago.
Tennessee-commit Peyton Tanner leads the charge by holding it down in the circle for Brazoswood. Last year, Tanner was the District 24-6A MVP after punching out 321 batters with a 0.716 ERA in 2023. Those are ridiculous numbers.
Mia Estrello (.317, first-team, all-district), Siannah Nava (.309, first-team, all-district), Jazlynn Soliz (Hilbert College), Bre Allen, Ali Rios and Audrey Sierra are others to take note of for 2024.
