It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that a successful team is created out of a culture that is enjoyable. At Northwest ISD, the Justin Northwest Lady Texans seem to have one of the closest, most fun team cultures in the metroplex. The team has continued to have positive attitudes all season while still being able to post incredible victories on the diamond.
It just takes scrolling through the team's Twitter account to see that the team knows how to have a good time. From having a homerun duchess title to the BB Bib and Big Energy Hat, the team has been showing off their skill, shouting out a job well done, and creating a culture of fun.

While having fun, the team has managed to post a 14-6 overall record and a 5-2 district record to finish in the second-place spot in their district standings; just behind an undefeated Aledo squad. Allowing only a combined 47 runs scored against them this season, the Lady Texans have posted big victories over the likes of El Paso Eastwood, Joshua, Saginaw, Allen, Lewisville, Azle, and more.

Scoring 104 runs of their own this season, the Lady Texans have shut out seven of their opponents including in their recent 8-0 victory over Wichita Falls Rider to close out regular season play. With excellent fielding matched with batters who remained focused at the plate, the Lady Texans have had a season to be proud of. There's no doubt that some of the best performances have been fostered by the ability to let loose and just have fun while playing under Coach Morrow.
