Michael Rose has been hired as the Midland High boys' and girls' varsity tennis coach.
Rose is the former director of adult tennis at the Greater Midland Tennis Center. His Professional Tennis Registry includes certification in High Performance Juniors, 11-17 Juniors, and Adults.
Rose is a graduate of Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central High School and played tennis at Aquinas College, where he was a two-year team captain, two-time All American and NAIA Senior Player of the Year.
Rose and his wife, Shannon, reside in Midland.
Midland High tennis players, parents, fans and supporters are invited to meet Coach Rose on Sunday, June 30 at 7 p.m. in the Midland High School cafeteria. Information will be provided about the direction of the programs and summer workouts.
