If anything, the top four teams in this week’s rankings strengthened their cases as Lake Travis, Vandegrift and Dripping Springs all cruised to big wins. (Westlake had a Bye, but you get the idea.) Then it gets a little dicey.
Previously undefeated Round Rock, Pflugerville and Georgetown all suffered upsets while Bowie fell for the first time as well, albeit to Lale Travis, to scramble our Top 10.
It gets even messier in the bottom half of our Top 20. LBJ cracks the Top 10 with a second straight impressive win over a private school and East View is knocking on the door after their comeback over Glenn. Somehow overlooked, Weiss jumps into the mix as well.
