WHAT A YEAR IT WAS FOR TOMBALL MEMORIAL IN 2023.
The Wildcats rolled to 41 victories, an undefeated District 15-6A record, and punched their ticket to the Regional Championship match. Now, in Sydney Lynch’s fifth season of directing the program, they look to take that next step, by reaching the UIL State Tournament.
With four starters returning, Lynch has talent back in the huddle for 2024.
First-team, all-district picks Sydni Halfmann and Sarah Odell return. They were also both picked for the GHVCA Postseason Team, while Odell earned All-VYPE Public School Volleyball Team, third-team honors.
Lila Westpahl was second-team, all-district and a TGCA All-Star Team alternate selection. As they enter this season, Lynch will lean on the motto “We are one, We are Wildcats” as the team’s rallying cry for this season.
