Back in mid-November, National Signing Day opened for all sports except for football. We highlighted one spectacular McKinney ISD athlete as cross country star London Culbreath signed with Arkansas .
As the football season draws to a close, the recruiting world anxiously awaits the opening of the football signing day, which generally serves up some huge theatrics as players choose from assorted hats on a table in a raucous gym.
There are three players - one at each school - that will be able to put pen to paper and declare their intentions for the next phase of their football career. Football signing day is Wednesday, December 18 - just as the UIL State Championships begin play.

In May, Frazier committed to playing for Chad Morris at Arkansas. But the day before National Signing Day, Frazier announced he was decommitting and opening up his recruitment. Rated No. 87 by 247Sports in Texas, Frazier has received offers from a number of Power 5 schools like Pitt, Virginia Tech, USC and Texas Tech, to name a few.
For his senior year, Frazier had 39 catches for 877 yards and seven touchdowns.
▲ Plae Wyatt (S) - Committed to Rice Way back in February, safety Plae Wyatt announced his intentions to play with Conference USA's Rice. He has remained to that commitment, despite picking up five others from Harvard, Darmouth, New Mexico State, Utah State and UTSA. Wyatt is a 3-star prospect and ranks 140th in Texas.
▲ Mitchell Tyler (DL) - Committed to Yale Tyler is rated as a 3-star prospect and is ranked 237th in Texas for 2020. Tyler initially committed to Baylor on May 29, a day after receiving the offer. However, he switched his commitment to Yale on September 10. Tyler is rated as the second best committed recruit for the 2020 Yale recruiting class.
