The mythos of Jimmy "The Jet" Holiday grew even more storied last week as the Madison Central quarterback propelled the No. 1 Jaguars to a convincing 28-14 win over No. 2 Brandon in the Jungle.
Holiday was simply unstoppable, rushing for 223 yards and accounting for three touchdowns on the ground and the other one through the air.
The TCU commit scored on a five yard run in the first half, then hit Logan Reed on a slant for a 41-yard touchdown pass before breaking free for touchdown runs of 64 and 85 yards in the second half.
"He did a great job, but you can't forget about the folks around him," Madison Central coach Anthony Hart said. "He had some really good seams to run through, but you can't substitute for Jimmy's football instincts and his speed. He put if where it needed to be when we threw it, too."
