Last year, Houston Christian went an impressive 31-4 overall and took home the SPC 4A Championship. That marks back-to-back SPC crowns for the Mustangs. Now, with only one starter returning this will be a much different looking team. Kayla Philips returns as the lone starter.
Keys to success for second-year head coach Matt Moore (52-22) are “integrating new players, staying healthy and staying out of foul trouble”.
