Prosper (1-0)
Prosper is headed into week two of preseason play with a win under their belt already. After a hard-fought season last year, the Eagles are back and ready to put in the work that it takes to head into district play stronger than ever. With the goal of post season play already on their minds, the Eagles are looking forward to playing hard in week two.
Sachse Mustangs (0-1)
The Mustangs are coming into week two after a disappointing loss to Coppell in week one. The team is looking to gain momentum this week and put up a fight against the likes of Prosper. With a strong offense, the Mustangs are going to want to start fast in order to try to get ahead. The defense will have to see some big adjustments from last week if they plan on holding off a team like Prosper.
What To Expect
Prosper isn't going to back down. Expect to see fast play from the Eagles this week. Catch the game in Sachse at 7 p.m.
▲ Weatherford Kangaroos vs. Richardson JJ Pearce Mustangs JJ Pearce Football
Weatherford (1-0)
The Kangaroos enter week two of play after a huge win over Keller Central in week one. The team has been building over the last few seasons and is finally seeing the benefits of their hard work. Weatherford is looking for another strong week as they go head to head with a strong Richardson Pearce team.
Richardson Pearce (0-1)
The Mustangs had a rough first week outing as they fell 24-7 to Wylie. The team is going to enter the game this week with a fire in their hearts to build up stronger. With Jack McGarry and Ryan Williams on the hunt for big plays in their junior season, fans can be sure that the Mustangs' offense is going to be on their game against Weatherford.
What To Expect
Both teams have strong offenses that are ready to score quickly and often. This match-up is going to come down to which defense has what it takes to put up big blocks consistently. Catch the game in Richardson at 7:30 p.m.
▲ Justin Northwest Texans vs. McKinney North Bulldogs McKinney ISD Athletics
Justin Northwest (1-0)
The Texans had an incredible week one game against Prosper Rock Hill last week. This week, they aim to continue showing their strengths as they head into a head-to-head battle with McKinney North! Jake Strong is leading a strong offense in Kyle Cummings and Joesph Rivas and the Texans are looking to start fast on Friday night.
McKinney North (1-0)
After a big win over Garland in week one, the Bulldogs are ready to continue their strong start to the season. Led by Korbin Hendrix, Jayden Walker, Colin Hitchcock, and other strong athletes, the offense is always sharp when they're on the field. Aside from great offense, though, the Bulldogs defense has been known to put a stop to advances from their opponents.
What To Expect
Both teams have strong offenses that can set tones early in the game, but what it's going to truly come down to is whether or not the Texans have what it takes to make a hole in the Bulldogs defense. Catch the game in Justin at 7 p.m.
▲ Aledo Bearcats vs. Denton Guyer Wildcats Denton ISD Athletics
Aledo (0-1)
After graduating a lot of seniors, usually strong Aledo opened up their season with a huge loss to three-time back-to-back-to-bacc TAPPS State Champions Parish Episcopal. Aledo will be looking to put up a huge fight against Denton Guyer this week as they continue to rebuild the legacy they once had.
Denton Guyer (1-0)
Guyer has been extremely strong for the last few seasons. After falling short in the state title game, this season they have been on a mission to cross all their t's and dot all their i's as they aim to take every game by storm. Led by Jackson Arnold, the offense has a tough one to put a stop to. Their defense? Another strong force each game.
What To Expect
Fans are going to want to keep their eye on Aledo's defense and see what they can do in order to put a stop to a fast-paced Guyer offense who is used to setting the tone. However, Guyer should have no trouble taking the win this week. Check out the game in Aledo at 7:30 p.m.
▲ Kaufman Lions vs. Crandall Pirates Kaufman Football
Kaufman (1-0)
The Lions are putting in the work this season and it shows. The team posted an incredible season opening victory over Lindale last week and look to do the same against a strong Crandall team this week. Johnathan Wren, Kylevon Morrow, and Braxton Garman look to continue strong on the Lions offense as the defense looks to continue holding off opponents.
Crandall (1-0)
The team is coming off a high after a big rivalry victory over Forney in week one. The big question is whether or not OU Commit Samuel Omosigho will be in after a potential should injury last week. Crandall is looking to come in and set the tone with a fast-paced offense on Friday night!
What To Expect
Fast play on both sides of the ball. These teams are pretty evenly matched and it's going to come down to which defense folds first. Catch the game in Crandall at 7:30 p.m.
